At Catalyst for Change SD, we are dedicated to at-promise youth and young adults, ages 8 to 25. Our focus is on providing education, intervention, and prevention programs that foster resilience, emotional intelligence, and social skills. We address the root causes of gang affiliation and youth vulnerability by implementing innovative methods, including trauma-informed care and the G-PAIR framework (G-Prevention, Affiliation , Intervention & Revelation). Together, we strive to create a brighter future for community’s youth.
Our Approach
At Catalyst for Change SD, we recognize that at-promise youth face systemic barriers, trauma, and environments that may lead to gang involvement and other negative behaviors. Out programs are designed to equip participants with the tools to build a growth mindset, develop emotional and social literacy, and adopt coping mechanisms for navigating challenges. By integrating trauma-informed care and addressing gang-related issues through G-PAIR methodology. We aim to prevent negative outcomes and empower youth to pursue productive future.

Though partnerships with schools, community organizations, law enforcement, and families, we aspire to create a sustainable impact, reducing gang involvement and increasing personal development.
